Parted Magic

Parted Magic merupakan distro Live CD yang didesain untuk tugas manajemen harddisk, di antaranya melakukan pengolahanpartisi. Dalam versi ini sejumlah fitur baru ditambahkan dan yang sudah ada ditingkatkan kemampuannya, termasuk sejumlah sistem perbaikan harddisk. Parted Magic kini telah mendukung partisi untuk RAID dan initrd telah diganti dengan initramfs.
Untuk menjalankan aplikasi ini, file ISO yang ada harus di-burning ke media CD atau di-mount ke flashdisk Universal Serial Busuntuk selanjutnya melakukan booting dari perangkat komputer atau laptop pengguna.

Perangkat lunak manajemen harrdisk ini memiliki 6 menu utama, yaitu:
  • GParted
  • Edit
  • View
  • Device
  • Partition
  • Help
